Geamurile reprezinta una dintre dotarile autovehiculului cu care ne-am obisnuit atat de tare incat aproape le ignoram. Desi par accesorii simple, acestea sunt destul de complexe si au trecut printr-o istorie bogata pentru a ajunge la forma pe care o au astazi. Geamurile laterale, parbrizele si luneta auto sunt dotate astazi cu senzori de ploaie, cu senzori de lumina, cu elemente de incalzire si chiar cu posibilitatea de a se transforma in sticla heliomata care protejeaza impotriva razelor solare. La inceput insa, acestea nu existau. Primele masini erau total lipsite de geamuri, ceea ce ii lasa pe pasageri in bataia vantului si a prafului. Chiar si dupa aparitia geamului auto, acesta a patruns destul de greu in viata soferilor, deoarece era foarte scump si destul de riscant dat fiind faptul ca era realizat din sticla obisnuita si in cazul in care se spargea, putea sa ii raneasca pe cei din jur. Toate problemele au fost depasite, insa. Astazi, masinile sunt dotate cu geamuri de cea mai buna calitate, care nu se sparg atat de usor ca odinioara si sunt echipate cu toate dotarile amintite.

Totusi, uneori geamurile se sparg. Faptul ca sunt mai rezistente si mai sigure nu le face indestructibile. Fie ca sar pietre de pe drum, fie ca treci mult prea aproape cu masina de niste crengi sau esti implicat intr-un accident, geamurile risca sa se sparga in mii de bucatele. Atunci cand se intampla asta, singura optiune pe care o ai este aceea de a le inlocui, iar acest proces poate parea infricosator. Este motivul pentru care am dezvoltat o afacere complexa in jurul geamurilor.

Sfaturi pentru intretinerea geamurilor!
Daca vrei sa te bucuri din plin de geamurile autovehiculului tau, este bine sa respecti urmatoarele sfaturi:
Nu circula cu viteza pe drumuri pietruite!
Nu uita geamurile deschise atunci cand masina este parcata!
Curata frecvent geamurile, folosind doar solutii de calitate, adaptate anotimpului in care te afli!
Daca geamul este inghetat, nu arunca cu apa calda pe el;
Daca apare o crapatura in geam, suna-ne! Un geam nou, insotit de montaj, poate avea un cost mult mai mic decat lipsa vizibilitatii.
